Wax & Waffle ("we", "us", "our") is based in Cheshire, UK. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use waxandwaffle.co.uk, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you buy from our store, book a cleaning or restoration service, or contact us, we may collect:
— Name
— Delivery and/or billing address
— Email address
— Phone number
— Order details (what you bought or booked, and when)
— Payment confirmation (we do not see or store your full card details — payments are processed securely by our payment provider)
If you just browse the site, we also collect basic technical data automatically (see Cookies, below).
WHY WE COLLECT IT
We use your information to:
— Process and deliver your order
— Process and return your cleaning or restoration booking
— Contact you about an order, booking, or query
— Meet our legal obligations (for example, accounting records)
— With your permission, send occasional updates about new stock or offers
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
To run the business, some information is shared with:
— Squarespace, who host this website and process store orders
— Our payment provider, to take payment securely
— Our courier (InPost and/or Evri), to deliver or collect parcels
Each of these providers only receives what they need to do their job, and is bound by their own data protection obligations.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep order and booking information for as long as needed to fulfil the order, deal with any dispute or return, and meet our accounting and tax obligations (normally six years). If you've opted in to marketing emails, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

This site uses cookies for basic functionality (like keeping items in your basket) and, if enabled, analytics to help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

— Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it
— Object to or restrict how we use it

CHILDREN
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
